Private bus strike in Matale-Kandy route

Private buses operating in the Matale-Kandy route have launched a strike in protest of the issuing of a new route permit for private buses.
31 Semi-Luxury and 42 normal Matale-Kandy buses have reportedly joined in on the strike launched today (June 14) morning.
