England won the test series against Sri Lanka 1-0 after the third and final test at the Rose Bowl, Southampton ended in a draw. Sri Lanka ended the fifth day on 334 for five wickets with Kumar Sangakkara reaching a ton.

 

The Sri Lankans batted first and were bundled out for 184 runs while England declared their first innings on 334 for 5. Sri Lanka replied with 334 for 5 in their second innings.
