Cab driver killed and another injured in roadside accident

One person was killed and another injured when a cab collided with a lorry on the Kurunegala-Dambulla main road in the Gokarella area today (June 21).
The cab driver and the passenger were rushed to the Polgolla Hospital where the 40-year-old driver succumbed to his injuries.
The driver was taken into custody and was to be presented at the Kurunegala Magistrates Court today.
