Gazette concerning teacher training on June 24

The gazette paper concerning student enrolment in the colleges of education will be published on June 24, Commissioner for Teacher Education, Tissa Hewavitharana stated.
Applications will be released three weeks after the gazette is published while admissions will be based on the applicant’s z-score.
He further stated that a lack of teachers in primary schools was a need that would be addressed immediately.
