26 schools in Kinniya closed

26 schools in the Kinniya education zone were closed today following a protest by teachers over an incident which took place last evening. The teachers were protesting an attack on the Kinniya zonal education director Y.L.M. Cassim, allegedly by an unidentified gang. Two persons have been arrested by the Kinniya Police last night.

 

 

The teachers are demanding that the police arrest all the suspects involved in the incident.
