Ministry to survey nutritional status of new university entrants

July 3, 2011   09:45 am

The Ministry of Health has decided to conduct a nutritional status survey of new university entrants. Therefore all students selected to enter universities will be subject to a medical examination, as instructed by the Health Minister.

The medical examinations will be conducted on the 2,500 or so students until they are provided with the leadership training, the Ministry stated.

The nutritional status of the students will be identified and they will be given necessary advice and instructions. Students with low nutrition will be instructed on how to increase it and students suffering from corpulence will be instructed on how to control, the Ministry of Health intends.
