TNA Parliamentarian E. Saravanabhavan’s vehicle had met with an accident in Sangilikandarawa, Medawachchiya today (July 03) morning while the MP had been traveling to Kilinochchi from Colombo.
The Tamil National Alliance Jaffna District MP and the driver of the vehicle escaped with only minor bruises; however the security officer also traveling in the vehicle has been critically wounded and is currently receiving treatment at the Anuradhapura Hospital.
Saravanabhawan reportedly was en route to Kilinochchi in order to attend an event when the driver of the vehicle, a pick-up truck, had lost control, attempting to avoid an oncoming vehicle and had hit a tree in the Sangilikandarawa area.
