The telephone numbers provided by the Ministry of Petroleum Industries, to report problems caused by the use of substandard petrol, do not work, says United National Party MP Ravi Karunanayake.

He claimed that he had dialed the telephone numbers himself in order to verify if they work, “they didn’t” he exclaimed during a meeting in Modara.

The telephone numbers 5664941, 5666328 and 5665082 were provided by the Petroleum Ministry yesterday (July 03) for consumers facing problems with their vehicles due to the use of substandard petrol to forward their complaints.
