Pedestrian dies after collision with a lorry

A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a lorry on the Tissa-Matara main road in Ambalantota, Police stated. Following the incident, the victim was rushed to the Ambalantota Hospital where he died upon arrival.
The 52 year old victim was a resident of Vanduruppa while police stated that the driver of the lorry had been arrested and will be produced at the Hambantota Magistrates Court.
