No-Confidence motion against Susil and Champika

The UNP has decided to move a motion of No-Confidence against the Minister of Petroleum Industries, Susil Premajayantha and the Minister of Power and Energy, Patali Champika Ranawaka in Parliament, John Amaratunga revealed.


The matter will be up for discussion when United National Party leaders gather tomorrow (July 11) morning and will come to a final decision in this regard, he stressed.


UNP Parliamentarian and Chief Opposition Whip, John Amaratunga pointed out that the No-Confidence motion was regarding the import of substandard petrol by the Minister.
