Call for Tamannaah ban over probable SL visit

Call for Tamannaah ban over probable SL visit

Several organizations including Seeman’s Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam, has called for a ban on Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia. The actress got herself in trouble for disclosing in an interview that she will be traveling to Sri Lanka for a Telugu film shoot.

The Tamil film industry is against the alleged atrocities committed by the Sri Lankan government on Tamils and has passed a resolution not to travel to that country for film shooting. It has also been decided to ban any star who visits Sri Lanka in their professional capacity.

Since Tamannaah has revealed that she will be going to Sri Lanka, there is a call not to book her in any Tamil films from now on and to remove the movie ‘Venghai’ starring Dhanush, from theatres as a mark of protest. (BehindWoods)
