Fonseka’s case postponed until November

The Colombo High Court today (12) set the dates for the hearing of the case filed against Sarath Fonseka and his private Secretary Senaka de Silva. Fonseka and de Silva who were accused on a charge of employing army deserters during the last presidential election were both present at today’s hearing.
The lawyer appearing on behalf of Sarath Fonseka informed the Court that the defendant’s lawyer Senior Attorney Nalin Ladduwahetti could not be present at court as he had to appear for another case today.
High Court judge Deepali Wijesundara accordingly postponed the hearing for November 14 and ordered that all witnesses in relation to the case be present on that day.
