300 MW added to the National Grid through Lakwijaya restoration

The Ministry of Power and Energy stated that the Lakwijaya Power station which was dysfunctional due to technical glitches has been restored to working condition.

 

The Lakwijaya power station added 100 MW of power to the National grid last Sunday (July 10) at around 2.40 AM, while by evening the same day another 70 MW was added to the National grid. While the reconstruction and observatory process is being continued at this power station, yesterday another 50 MW of power was added to the National grid.

 

According to the Ministry by 09.40 pm yesterday it was able to add the entire anticipated 300 MW of power to the National Grid.
