Court orders arrest of ITN News Director

The Colombo Magistrates Court today (July 19) ordered the arrest of ITN news Director, Sudarman Radaliyagoda over allegations of financial fraud put forward by the Colombo Fraud Investigation Bureau (FIB).

 

The suspect had allegedly committed the fraud by presenting a forged document to Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) of which a complaint was received by the FIB.

 

His arrest was ordered by the Colombo-Fort Magistrate after the FIB stated that he had not presented himself for questioning despite being notified of the allegations against him.
