Three Indian fishermen rescued by SL Navy

The Sri Lankan navy handed over three fishermen who were stranded at mid-sea, to the Indian Coast Guard on Wednesday.
As per sources, more than 500 mechanised boats ventured into the sea from Rameswaram on Wednesday. But, three fishermen were stranded at mid-sea after their boat developed a snag. They were later noticed by Lankan navy personnel, who informed the ICG. Selvaraj, Ramesh and Pirabu, were later handed over to ICG at the International Maritime Boundary Line. (IBN)
