Do not toy with promises - FUTA

July 25, 2011   01:16 pm

Do not toy with the promises given to the University lecturers, the President of The Federation of University Teachers’ Association (FUTA) President Prof. Nirmal Ranjith Devsiri said today. He added that though they settled for a solution barely sufficient, there was now suspicion over whether even that will be provided.

He warned that the Government would be given time until the next budget to fulfill its promises failing at which the FUTA would be forced to initiate a massive island wide trade union action.
