UNP affairs according to constitution

UNP leader Ranil Wickramasinghe, currently overseas on an official visit, has been informed of the conversations taking place over the party’s leadership and a round of talks will held on the matter upon his return to the island, says Tissa Attanayake.
In order to resolve the issue through discussions suggestions of all parties concerned will be taken into consideration, the General Secretary of the UNP stated.
“However the affairs of the United National Party (UNP) will be conducted according to the party’s constitution.” he declared.
