Anuradhapura Hospital doctors on token strike

Doctors of the Anuradhapura General Hospital are currently observing token strike reportedly due to a problematic situation concerning a building in the hospital.

The doctors have discontinued all outpatient department and clinic duties, according to Vice Secretary of the Government Medical Officers Association Dr. Sankalpa Marasinghe.

However, he added, a special meeting is scheduled to be held with the Secretary of the Health Ministry pertaining to this issue.

Dr. Marasinghe said a definite solution is expected in general following the said discussion.
