Fuel distributed under independent supervision

Petrol, diesel and kerosene released from the fuel storage complexes in Kolonnawa and Muthurajawela will be distributed only after confirmations from independent investigative bodies, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation said.
The quality of the fuel will also be confirmed through Kolonnawa and Sapugaskanda laboratory tests even after they are disembarked and distribution will taske place only after that, a release signed by CPC Chairman Retired Major General M R W Soysa stated.
It said that fuel currently being imported and distributed under the supervision of the heads of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and Sri Lanka Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited heads.
