Rowan Atkinson was hospitalized on Thursday night after crashing his $1 million super car in the English countryside.
The British actor, widely known as Mr. Bean, reportedly lost control of his McLaren F1 motor in Cambridgeshire and smashed into a tree and then a lamppost.
Emergency services attended the scene and Atkinson was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for a shoulder injury, according to Britain’s The Sun.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service says, “We were called to a single car road traffic collision at 7.30pm... A male was taken to Peterborough General Hospital with a shoulder injury.
“It was a minor shoulder injury. The occupant was out of the car when we arrived.”
