Another batch of around 150 rehabilitated former LTTE cadres will be reintegrated into the society within next week, Commissioner General of Rehabilitation Maj. Gen. Sudantha Ranasinghe said.

Especially ex-Tamil Tigers who have completed various courses and have achieved professional qualifications will be released, according to him.

Out of the roughly 11,000 LTTE combatants taken into custody during the final stages of the humanitarian mission over 8,000 have been systematically reintegrated into the society while only another 2969 former Tamil Tigers remain, the Commissioner General added.
