Police officers and civilians felicitated at Police HQ

A ceremony was held today (August 10) under the auspices of the Inspector General of Police N.K. Illangakoon at the Police headquarters to felicitate the brave deeds of some of the police officers and civilians alike.
The officers of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ratnapura Division, the Matara Division, Anuradhapura Division, Negombo Division as well as 29 civilians were felicitated with cash gifts, Police Media Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody stated.
The officers and civilians involved in solving the Kahawatta murders by successfully arresting the suspects involved were some of the highlighted individuals of the event.
