Motorcyclist dies in collision with cab

A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a cab on the Athurugiriya-Malabe road in Horawela area. The victim’s wife who was riding on the back of the motorcycle sustained injuries for which she was rushed to the Colombo National Hospital.
The cab driver involved in the accident was arrested and ordered by the Kaduwela Magistrates Court to be kept in remand until August 19.
