Lankan maid attempts to commit suicide in Kuwait

A Sri Lankan housemaid tried to end her own life by cutting her left wrist in her sponsor’s house in Hawally. Her sponsor called police after seeing her bleeding profusely as she cut her left wrist.
She was referred to Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital and investigations are underway to determine the actual circumstances that prompted her to try to commit suicide. (ArabTimes)
