Gas prices increased by Rs.156

The price of a 12.5Kg domestic gas cylinder, both Litro and Laugfs, have been increased by Rs. 156 with effect from midnight today (August 19).
Laugfs Gas Ltd had previously sought permission of the Cooperatives and Internal Trade Ministry to increase the price of a domestic gas cylinder by Rs.570, however the Ministry has only permitted a Rs. 156 price hike.
