Man shot and killed in Chilaw

A person was killed following a shooting in Chilaw in the Sippikalana area, the Chilaw police reported. The victim was shot by an unidentified man after he exited his home to use the lavatory facilities.

The victim was allegedly involved in a host of criminal activities in the Sippikalana area while police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
