Armed group abducts Lawyer from private hospital

A lawyer who was receiving treatment at a leading private hospital in Colombo for a mental condition was abducted today (September 7) by an armed group, Police Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakoddy stated.
The abduction took place around 3 a.m. this morning by an armed group that turned up at the hospital while the Slave Island Police are conduction further investigations, he stated.
