In keeping with the pledge of promoting the realization of dreams and goals in children, Anchor has come on board as sponsor of the soon-to-be-released children’s movie ‘Mouse’, directed and produced by Wasantha Moragoda.
Anchor, the flagship brand of Fonterra Brands Lanka, which conscientiously promotes the importance of good nutrition for children and mothers, also focuses on instilling positive and optimistic attitudes amongst children and parents alike and has opted to sponsor this movie which conveys a strong message regarding the importance of nurturing our future generations.
Achyut Kasireddy, Managing Director, Fonterra Brands Lanka said, “We are pleased to be a part of this project because we believe that the film aligns well with the message that Anchor is trying to communicate to society, the message of self belief and confidence and that children can do great things if they persevere. It is proven that children supported by their parents and caregivers through means of proper nutrition and care are most likely to succeed in attaining their goals and dreams.”
“The film ‘Mouse’ was developed with the view of conveying a strong message regarding the importance of protecting and nurturing our future generations, our children,” stated director Wasantha Moragoda. As much as the film speaks to children in order to encourage them to work hard and realize their goals, it also speaks to the adults who play a significant role in identifying potential in children and supporting and encouraging them to defy socially imposed limitations. “The message that this movie conveys is one that is very relevant to today’s society and we are indeed glad to partner with a brand such as Anchor that believes in propagating the idea of self belief; I know I can,” Moragoda concluded.
Anchor has lived up to the expectations of mothers, providing trusted nutrition to Sri Lankans for the past 30 years. Anchor believes that proper nutrition ensures the physical and cognitive development of a child, while also assisting emotional wellbeing.
The film stars Roshan Ravindra, Kaushalya Fernando, Robin Fernando, Shrimal Wedisinghe, Avanthi Aponso, Jayani Senanayake, Chathura Fernando, Thisal Thulnith, Lithmal and many other children. ‘Mouse’ is scheduled to open in the first week of October in the Ceylon circuit of cinemas.
