Three nabbed for illegal gem mining

Three individuals were arrested by police Special Task Force personnel while they were engaged in illegal gem mining in the Thambapanne area in Ingiriya.
The suspects, arrested in a raid carried out in cooperation with the Ingiriya Police, are residents of Karadana and Ellagoda.
Police also seized several equipment used for gem mining.
