Prepared to provide concessions if received from budget

Provide concessions for the betterment of the private bus industry through the proposed budget, the All Ceylon Private Bus Owners’ Association requests from the government.

If relevant provisions are allocated in the next budget, we are prepared to provide concessions to the public in the bus fare revision, its Secretary Anjana Priyanjith stated during a press briefing today (Sep. 13).

He also accused the Road Passenger Transport Authority of the Western Province of including buses disregarding the existing methodical bus schedule.

“We totally condemn this and we will have to resort to trade union action if this continues in the future.” Anjana Priyanjith expressed.
