Body of a 17-year-old girl found in a cave

The body of a 17 year old girl wrapped in cloth was found in a rock cave in the Narangwalawatta area in Yakkalamulle, Police stated.
The girl was a resident of the Kananke, Kadaweethiya while Police stated that her father had reported her missing on August 21.
The teenager’s body was transported to the Karapitiya Hospital where a post mortem examination will be conducted today (September 15).
The Yakkalamulle police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
