Sri Lanka take 157-run lead in first innings

Sri Lanka scored 473 in the first innings of the 3rd Test against Australia at SSC in reply to the tourists’ total of 316. Sri Lanka lead by 157 runs. (Mathews 105*, Dilshan 83, Sangakkara 79, M Jayawardene 51)
Sri Lanka resumed the day on 428-6, but lost its last four wickets for 45 runs.
Seamer Peter Siddle bowled overnight batsman Shaminda Eranga in the third over of the morning for 12 runs and five overs after trapped Rangana Herath lbw. Siddle returned figures of 4-91.
Mathews was unbeaten on 105 off 269 balls including 10 boundaries.
