Public Health Inspectors (PHIs) in the North Western Province are to take to trade union action tomorrow (Sep. 26) against police interference when performing their duties. President of the Public Health Inspectors’ Association, Upul Rohana stated that from tomorrow all PHIs in the North Western Province will withdraw from assigned duties.

He warned the trade union action will be carried out island-wide if authorities fail to provide an imminent solution to the growing issue.
