A grounded SF 260 aircraft belonging to the Sri Lanka Air Force Museum had developed a technical fault during a taxi test at the runway of the Ratmalana Airport.
However, there were no casualties or injuries from the incident, Air Force Spokesman Group Captain Andrew Wijesuriya said.
He added that the aircraft is currently being removed from the runway.
