The prevailing drought in Hambantota has affected humans and animals alike. Due to the Madilla River drying up a 12 foot crocodile was seen roaming near the village. After a massive operation the Hambatota Wildlife officials were able to secure the croc and released him at the Bundala National Reserve. Pic by Rahul Samantha
