There is no evidence to substantiate the leaking of Grade 5 scholarship exam paper, Police Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said today. According to Police inquiries have not revealed any evidence to suggest that the papers were leaked before the examination.

 

On August 27, Exams Commissioner W.M. Pushpa Kumara said the investigations regarding the issue of leaking grade 5 scholarship exam papers will be handed over to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

 

The Ceylon Teacher’s Service Union, stated on August 26 that the grade 5 scholarship exam papers had been leaked prior to the examination session.
