The police have advised motorists to be cautious when driving on the A9 road due to repair work being conducted along the road especially between Omanthai and Jaffna.

The police have also taken measures to hand out leaflets to motorists traveling on the road with clear instructions and precautionary measures for them to follow.

The leaflet will be available in all three languages, police stated.
