Fisherfolk protest in Salli...

The fishermen community in the Salli area in Trincomalee today staged a protest blocking the Trincomalee-Pulmudai road demanding that authorities strictly implement the law against individuals using banned fishing nets and equipment for poaching in the seas and also to launch search operations to locate a missing fisherman.
