A person was stabbed and injured using a sharp object before being robbed of Rs 350,000 in the Owitigala area in Matugama.
The victim was admitted to the Weththawa Hospital and later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.
The wounded man has been identified as a businessman from Matugama.
