Twenty four persons were injured and hospitalized after a Diyatalawa-bound private bus from Jaffna toppled down a precipice at Ramboda in Kotmale today, Police said.
Police said the accident occurred at around 4.30am today when the bus fell about 60 feet down the precipice.
Twenty-one of the wounded passengers have been admitted to the Kotmale Hospital while the rest are being treated at the Wahugapitiya Hospital.
