Youth killed in motorcycle accident in Mahiyanganaya

A motorcyclist was killed in the Kandiarawa area on the Akiriyankumbura Bibila road in Mahinyanganaya when his motorcycle veered off the road, police stated.

 

The motorcyclist was rushed to the Akiriyankumbura hospital but had later succumbed to his serious injuries, police reported.

 

The victim was a 23 year old youth from Meerahana in Akiriyankumbura.

 

The Mahiyanganaya police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
