Airman shoots colleague, commits suicide

An Airman attached to the Piduruthalagala Air Force base has committed suicide after shooting dead a colleague, the Air Force Spokesman told Ada Derana.
The Airman after killing his fellow officer has shot himself early today morning while they were engaging in guard room duties.
Preliminary inquiries have revealed that the murder suicide was the result of a personal dispute while the Magistrate inquiry is to be carried out on the incident, police said.
