The Education Ministry says the selection process for grade one admissions for year 2015 will commence from next month.

The interview board will consist of representatives from parents, old boys, teachers, head of the primary, and the principal or vice principal of the school.

The provisional admissions list will be put-up on school’s notice board from September 30. The appeals can be made within two weeks after the provisional admissions list is announced.

The appeals committee will be represented by an official attached to the Education Ministry and will be headed by a principal of another school, from the same area.

According to the Education Ministry the final selection list of the grade one admissions for year 2015 will be announced on 15 November.
