Soldier falls to death in Trincomalee

A navy rating who is an attached player to the rugby team of the Trincomalee Naval Base died after he fell-off a four-story building.

Navy Media Spokesperson, Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said the incident was taken place early hours of last morning inside the naval base.

The remains of the deceased have been taken to the Trincomalee Geneal Hospital for the autopsy. 

Magisterial inquiry was conducted at the scene of the crime by Chief Magistrate K. Swarnarajah, last morning.
