Project to investigate public matters

A project has been launched by the Ministry of Public Management Reforms in a bid to investigate public matters and provide appropriate solutions for them.

Governmental bodies such as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Environment, Department of Animal Production and Health, Department of Agriculture and National Water Supply & Drainage Board have been included in the initial stage of this project.

The general public can acquire explanations for their problems after in written submitting their questions to the mentioned departments and ministries.

The public can too submit their problems and obtain answers through www.complainps.gov.lk or by calling 1919 (Government Information Center).

According to the Ministry, the project also facilitated public to inquire the current progress of their complaints via emails and mobile alerts.
