VIDEO: Anura Kumara Dissanayake hospitalised after accident

JVP leader MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake has been admitted to the Ratnapura Hospital with minor injuries following a traffic accident at Kiriella this morning.
Dissanayake’s vehicle had reportedly collided with a tipper truck transporing sand on the Ratnapura-Horana road at around 10.30am today.
The Member of Parliament (MP) had sustained minor injuries to his foot following the collision and is being transferred to the Colombo National Hospital, JVP propaganda secretary Vijitha Herath told Ada Derana.
Anura Kumara Dissanayake was appointed as the new leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), also known as the People’s Liberation Front, at its seventh convention in February.
