Kudu Nuwan arrested - Police

A notorious drug peddler known as Kudu Nuwan was arrested this morning by a group of police officers attached to the Colombo Crime Division (CCD).
Police Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana told Ada Derana that the suspect was nabbed during a raid carried out in Meethotamulla area in Wellampitiya. The CCD has also seized 300 grams of heroin from his possession. The peddler is said to be a close associate of a controversial politician.
The suspect will be produced in the Colombo Magistrate’s Court, today.
