Landslide warning for four districts

Since the prevailing bad weather condition is expected to continue with in next 24-hours, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has issued landslide warning for four districts including Galle, Kalutara, Matara and Kegalle.
Dr. H.A.G. Jayatissa, Senior Scientist at the Landslide Research and Risk Management Division of the DMC says that the public living in these regions need to give special attention on all mountain areas, manmade cut slopes, and roads within the districts.
