VIDEO: Five women arrested with gold at BIA

Five Sri Lankan women have been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) by the Customs Officers for attempting to smuggle out gold.
The suspects has arrived the BIA, this morning, from Singapore with three kilograms of gold in their possession, a custom officer said.
The estimated value of seized gold is over Rs 20 million. The Sri Lanka Customs have seized ten gold biscuits, eights bangles, two bracelets and necklaces each.
The suspect has been identified as a resident of Grandpass.
