Special traffic plan in Colombo today

A special traffic plan will be implemented in the Colombo City in view of the arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the police said.
According to the police, vehicular movement along Chaithya Road and the old parliament roundabout along Galle Road to Kollupitiya junction will be restricted from 8.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
Vehicle movements on Liberty roundabout, Red Cross roundabout, Green Path, Nelum Pokuna road, Horton Place, New Kelani Bridge and the Katunayake expressway will be too restricted from 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
Police advise the motorists to use alternative roads during these periods.
